Lush Cafe | By the Lake

Lush Cafe is creating a buzz in the cafe scene in Madhapur with all good reasons. A cafe with a rooftop seating having an unrestricted view of the Durgam Cheruvu lake and that beautiful cable bridge. A perfect spot to enjoy the serene view and tranquillity with friends or family. If you are visiting for dinner then the added bonus will be the musical fountain at Durgam Cheruvu lake which runs daily, every half an hour from 7 PM onwards till 10 PM. The cafe is also used by techies to drink some coffee and work simultaneously.

Interiors/Aesthetics – The cafe has 2 floors of sitting arrangement, 4th floor is for big groups and working professionals having white coloured sofas and drapes. The interior in general is plush and upscale. On top of the 4th floor with serene lake view is the sitting for couples, lovers and family alike. The sitting on top consisting of wooden furniture is a bit cramped but the view makes it worth it.

Food – We ordered cream of mushroom soup, paneer majestic, paneer makhani pizza, hot chocolate and paradise signature drink. Mushroom soup was hot and creamy , a perfect companion on a cold night. Paneer majestic with garlic gravy is really tempting and delicious. The portion size of paneer majestic was quite big and can be easily used between even 3 or 4 persons. Makhani pizza was not quite up to the mark as makhani sauce was non-existent. The toppings on the pizza were plentiful and the base was thin and crisp. Both the drinks,hot and cold, were average tasting. The signature drink was having a bit much of orange flavour which overpowered every other flavour in the drink.

Service – Service is one area in which the cafe can improve upon. The waitress was prompt but was unable to understand a few things. The wait time was average for some dishes and long for some and considering only a handful of people at that time, wait time was bound to be longer in peak hours. Menu was fully digital but ordering was manual.The restaurant is not listed on Zomato or Eazydiner and hence no discount available currently.
